William Gillis on Primitivism

From the Human Iterations blog.

the question is not can we live without cars, factories, farms and the whole fucked up interwoven array of psychoses we lazily refer to as 'civilization,' but whether an existence without exploration, invention and those orgasmic little eureka moments that constitute science and technology can even be called life.

What more could I add? Except "hell yes".
